Som Girl was founded by Christine Wells to bring the beauty and enjoyment of wine to others. She believes that there is a world of wonder between the extremes of drinking white zinfandel with your Aunt Louise and dedicating ones life to becoming a master sommelier. With some skills, knowledge and practice in a fun environment, everyone can learn to enjoy all of the nuances of wine and gain comfort incorporating it into daily life.

She's a mom of two, a wife to one, and loves nothing more than to connect with friends over food and wine, when she's not snuggling with her bulldog. 

A certified sommelier (under the Court of Master Sommeliers), Christine studied wine at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone and is also a certified wine professional. 

Lucky diners find her working at Barcha, occasionally alongside Chef Russell Jackson and the Ronin Consortium of Subculture Dining, or as partner and sommelier with Food Lab Pop-up.
